Advances Postures - 4-Week Courses
Lightness, health, steadiness, a clear complexion and a sweet voice
are noted as signs of progress in Yoga. Complex Yoga poses challenge
both body and mind, leading the student towards a more profound understanding
of Yoga.
The courses teach:
Techniques of Complex Poses
The Sequencing of Poses
General Principles of Practice
Cautions and Precautions
Harmony of Mind-Body Movement
Students should preferably have practised Yoga for 8 – 10 years and
be able to do Sirsasana (head balance) with variations, Padmasana
(lotus pose) and Urdhva Dhanurasana (bridge backbend).
The courses are taught by Mira Mehta.
