Principles of Practice
- Saturday Workshops 2010
These workshops highlight the anatomical and physiological principles
behind a healthful practice of Yoga and introduce theory from various
Yoga-related texts.
The topics are:
Shapes and Directions – 20 February
How to Stretch – 20 March
The Plane of the Body – 15 May
Moving the Hips – 12 June
The Anchor of Movement – 10 July
Trunk and Limbs – 25 September
Rotational Movements – 23 October
Relaxation, Mind and Breath – 20 November
Students would benefit from having some Yoga experience.
The workshops are run by Mira Mehta.
